SCOPE OF WORK
A 257,000 square-foot new, mixed-use development along Coral Gables Waterway. The design is a fusion of contemporary and tropical influences. The design showcases covered pedestrian walkways, condominium residences, office space, retail space with private terraces, underground parking and a manatee viewing station.
More importantly, Gables Waterway is exceeding all environmental requirements and is the first new development to register for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification in Coral Gables from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Highlights of the Gables Waterway ‘green’ strategy include: recycling rainwater, bicycle storage, +10% of building materials will be recycled, use of renewable products such as bamboo and agrifiber. The project will also use Green Label Plus program for carpets, and high-efficiency and smart lighting.
