VENETIAN POOL
A Historic Icon, Beautifully Restored.
R.E. Chisholm Architects, Inc. served as a team member in the restoration and rehabilitation of Venetian Pool for the City of Coral Gables, contributing to the upgrade of this nationally recognized historic landmark.
Originally constructed in 1923 from a coral rock quarry, the pool is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains one of South Florida’s most iconic public spaces.
As part of the project team, our scope included targeted repairs and waterproofing of the pool basin, structural reinforcement and stabilization of the historic towers, and the design and renovation of the café to enhance both functionality and user experience.
Through disciplined coordination and adherence to preservation standards, our work enhances the facility’s performance and durability while supporting its continued use for future generations.
